Our Mission

The Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies (JMS) is the official peer-reviewed publishing platform of KAAF University, Ghana. Our mission is to disseminate high-quality, peer-reviewed scholarly research that advances theory, practice, and policy across Engineering, Technology, and the Sciences.

We are committed to open access publishing — ensuring that research is freely available to scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and the public worldwide, without barriers of cost or geography.

Publication Ethics

JMS strictly adheres to the publication ethics and malpractice statement outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). We are committed to:

  • Maintaining the integrity of the academic record
  • Rigorous double-blind peer review by qualified reviewers
  • Zero tolerance for plagiarism (all submissions screened)
  • Transparent authorship and conflict of interest disclosures
  • Prompt corrections, retractions when errors are identified
  • Protection of human and animal research subjects

Open Access Policy

All articles published in the Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies are immediately and permanently open access. Our journals operate under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, which allows anyone to share and adapt published content with proper attribution.

We charge no submission fees, no article processing charges (APCs), and no subscription fees. Publishing is entirely free for authors, and reading is entirely free for everyone.


Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo rigorous double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts in the relevant field. The review process typically takes 4–8 weeks. Authors may be asked to revise and resubmit their manuscript based on reviewer comments.
